Vancouver Canucks sign free-agent forward prospect Nils Aman
VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks have signed Swedish forward prospect Nils Aman to an entry-level contract.
Aman, 22, had 14 points (six goals, eight assists) and eight penalty minutes in 51 games with Leksands IF of the Swedish Hockey League last season.
He’s played 110 regular-season SHL games, tallying 27 points (nine goals, 18 assists), added one goal in four playoff appearances, and played for Sweden at the men’s world hockey championships in Finland last month.
Hailing from Avesta, Sweden, the six-foot-two, 185-pound Aman was drafted 167th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2020 NHL entry draft.
