Allard to attend energy and environment conference
Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard will be attending the Energy Council’s 2022 State and Provincial trends in Energy and Environment conference later this week.
The four-day gathering, which begins on Thursday in Overland Park, Kansas, will see discussion on topics such as energy security, electricity grid reliability, emissions reduction, transboundary pipeline projects, and the workforce in the energy sector.
According to a release by the province, Allard will take part in board meetings during the conference in her role as both a member of the Energy Council’s executive committee and as a board of director for the Centre for Legislative Energy and Environmental Research.
Alberta is set to host the Energy Council Conference later this year in Banff.
