Roadways that will be affected include:

– 96th avenue between 109th and 112th streets

– 109th street between 96th and 97th avenues

– 110th street between 95th and 96th avenues

– 11th street between 95th and 97th avenues

– 112th street between 96th and 97th avenues.

Access will be limited to local traffic only with some short-term road closures expected

Work in this area is expected to wrap up by the first week of August, weather permitting.

Westgate work

Starting on Friday, road work will begin on two portions of streets in the Westgate area.

Concrete and storm sewer repairs, along with line painting and landscaping work will be completed on 104th avenue between 116th and 118th streets, as well as 118th street between 101st and 104th avenues.

That project is expected to be completed by mid-July, weather permitting.

While this work is being done, traffic will be reduced to a single lane with a 30 km an hour speed limit.

The city says pedestrian access is expected to be maintained in this area during construction.
