Big weekend for Peace Region cowgirls, cowboys

A Grande Prairie cowgirl took first place in her event at the Stavely Pro Rodeo on the weekend.

Jennifer Neudorf grabbed the top spot in barrel racing.

She also finished second at the Daines Ranch Pro Rodeo at Innisfail

Also at Stavely, Worsley’s Grady Ruecker finished second in steer riding.

Bezanson’s Brooke Auclair was second in breakaway roping.

Brodie Roessler of Fairview and Tyrel Roberts of Charlie Lake, BC tied for third in saddle broncs.

Crooked Creek’s Colton Klassen and partner Brandon Duperron of Onoway took fifth in team roping. They also finished seventh at the Innisfail rodeo.

All these results are still unofficial.
