City offering outdoor swim lessons for preschool aged children

The City of Grande Prairie will be having preschool swimming lessons for children aged three to five at the Grande Prairie Outdoor Pool later this summer.

The first classes start August 2 till the 11 and run again from August 15 to 25.

Sessions will feature Lifesaving Society Preschool one, two, and three classes taking place Monday to Friday at varying times between 10:30 a.m. and 12:40 p.m.

Swimming lessons at the outdoor pool cost the same as in Eastlink Centre; $92 for eight sessions.

City staff has increased the temperature of the pool this year to make the facility an ideal place for families with small children to enjoy the water.
