Cowboys pick up inaugural win in convincing fashion

The Peace Country Cowboys have their first win of the Alberta Football League season.

The Cowboys routed a short-staffed Fort McMurray Monarchs team 38-0 at CKC Field on Saturday night.

Samson Coward had 155 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the way for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys return to action this Saturday when they visit the Central Alberta Buccaneers.
