For the 105th time, Teepee Creek Stampede week has kicked off and is ready to put on a show.

The four-day event features a long list of things going on, with organizers saying there will be something for everyone.

President of the Teepee Creek Stampede Association, Ryan Matheson says everyone is excited to be going full-fledge again.

“We got the chucks coming Thursday through to Sunday evening so that should great and then we have some awesome entertainment to follow in the beer gardens afterward.”

Family Night is Thursday with Emerson Drive in the Enframe Barn providing the night entertainment.

Friday night is featuring The Reklaws and Saturday night is Aaron Pritchett. Both shows are 18+.

“Everybody is really excited, we got some beautiful weather ahead of us, everything is ready to hit the ground running,” he says.

Thursday’s Pembina Family Day is showcasing a number of activities. Matheson says there will be “Our calf scramble, mutton busting, a few displays for the kids, a car show and also some local events like the wild horse race, wild cow milking as well… that always puts on a good show.”

Matheson reminds people going out to the stampede grounds this weekend to “stay safe, have a designated driving service if you’re not camping out, everyone come out and have a good time.”

“We are really looking forward to another four days in the wild!”
