Changes have been made to the Eastlink Centre and Aquatera Outdoor Pool schedule

The City of Grande Prairie has made some changes to the Eastlink Centre Pool and Aquatera Outdoor Pool schedule based on visitors’ feedback.

The changes went into effect Monday, July 18, and have some variations between pools.

Changes to the Eastlink Centre Pool schedule:

Removal of the 30-minute breaks between public swims.
Lane swimming is now available from open until 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays and until 9 p.m. every other day.
Family swim is no longer limited to children and their guardians but the slide and lazy river will be turned off to create a quieter environment.

Changes to Aquatera Outdoor Pool schedule:

Only one 30-minute break a day from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Lane swimming Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 1:30, however, there will be no lane ropes added to the pool during swim lane times.
Removal of adult swim.
Adding public swim times.

The City would like to thank residents who provided feedback on how to further improve their facilities.
