Rio Grande Bridge will be under construction starting Monday

Starting Monday, July 25, Range Road 121 between Township Road 704 and 703, over the Rio Grande Bridge will be closed for repairs.

It’s a part of the County of Grande Prairie’s $6.7 million project to replace old transportation infrastructure.

The road closure will allow crews to realign the existing road with the new bridge.

Drivers can access Range Road 121 north and south of the road closure using Secondary Highway 722 and Township Road 710.

The closure is expected to last until the end of August, depending on the weather.
