Off-road vehicle collision results in fatality near Big Mountain Haul Road

On Sunday July 24, 2022, at around 12:00 a.m., the Grande Prairie RCMP received a 9-1-1 call of an off-road vehicle collision near the Big Mountain Haul Road.

EMS, fire services and RCMP attended the scene and EMS pronounced the sole occupant of the off-road vehicle deceased at the scene.

The 54-year-old male’s name will not be released.

Mounties continue to investigate the cause of the fatality and no further updates are anticipated.
