No more fire advisory for the Grande Prairie Forest Area
Aug 4, 2022 | 6:00 AM
The Grande Prairie Forest Area has lifted its fire advisory.
This advisory lift is thanks to the projected low temperatures and recent amount of precipitation that is expected to continue for the rest of the week.
The wildfire danger level has dropped to moderate and will now see the return of normal fire permit requirements.
However, there are two active forest fires in the Grande Prairie Forest Area with one being under control and the other turned over to the responsible party for extinguishment.
