Pair wanted as RCMP investigate recent crime spree

Peace Regional RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a pair of incidents on Sunday in Peace River.

Shortly after 4 pm, RCMP were notified about a man and a woman allegedly siphoning gas from several parked vehicles in the West Hill Business Park.

The pair reportedly took off in a black Ford F-350. which was spotted moments later in a parking lot off 100th avenue and 77th street.

Police say the male driver of the suspect vehicle rammed into another vehicle, got out of the truck and sprayed the complainant with bear spray before ramming their vehicle again and driving off.

The male suspect is described as being light-skinned, in his late 20s to early 30s, and approximately 5’8″ with dark hair, thick build, and a thick dark mustache.

The female suspect is also light skin toned and in her late 20s to early 30s, with long brown hair, medium build, and was wearing distinct pink skateboard style shoes.

The suspect truck was reported stolen to Grande Prairie RCMP on August 6th and was involved in a flight from police incident in Clairmont early on the morning of August 7th.
