RCMP investigating mysterious incident at Grande Prairie courthouse

Grande Prairie RCMP say they are investigating what they are calling “an unknown situation” that happened Friday morning at the provincial court building.

Mounties say at around 11 a.m., two employees became sick. One had to be taken to hospital and was later released. The other was assessed on the scene.

Police say there was some concern over air quality.

The building was evacuated and remained closed for the day even though it had been deemed safe.

RCMP continues to investigate.
