Aug 26, 2022 | 2:50 PM

OTTAWA — South Korea’s Narin An shot a 6-under 65 on Friday to take a two-stroke lead at the CP Women’s Open.

Fellow Korean Hye-Jin Choi had a 63 to enter into a tie for second with first-round leader Paula Reto of South Africa at 11 under overall.

Brooke Henderson, from nearby Smiths Falls, Ont., shot a 3-under 68 to sit at 5 under.

Play was suspended for two hours due to heavy rain and lightning around Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club.

It is expected that the afternoon wave will have to complete their second round on Saturday morning.

Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member Lorie Kane of Charlottetown played her 30th and final round at the CP Women’s Open. She missed the cut.
