One dead after Friday evening collision near Bezanson

A 60-year-old Grande Prairie man is dead following a two-vehicle crash near Bezanson on Friday night.
RCMP say at around 8:20 on Friday night, a pickup was traveling eastbound on Highway 43 and attempted to turn northbound onto Secondary Highway 733 when it collided with a westbound SUV.
The deceased, who was one of two people in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
