An Explore Grande Prairie Welcome Package is now being offered to newcomers

The City of Grande Prairie is offering a new Grande Prairie welcome package to support newcomers coming to Canada.

This package is designed to make new immigrants with refugee, work permits, or student visa status, feel more comfortable and at ease during their transition into Grande Prairie.

These welcome packages will consist of five passes to the Eastlink Centre, five passes to the Activity Reception Centre, and a three-month free transit pass.

People who receive the package will also automatically qualify for one year of the City’s Recreation Access Program and Transit Access Program.

To qualify for the Explore Grande Prairie Welcome Package you must have lived in Canada for a maximum of three months and have a Grande Prairie Address.
