Peace Wapiti School Division unveils new location for PWEC

Peace Wapiti Public School district has announced the opening of a new, larger location for their Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre.

First opened in Grande Prairie in 2018, the PWEC gives alternative education students within the division the opportunity to work on their courses, and to connect with their teachers and each other on a drop-in basis.

The new building will continue those opportunities with increased drop-in times, more access to services, and additional student workshops, while also providing space to run clubs and host other activities.

The Enterprise Centre is now located on 117th avenue near 107th street.
