Road Closure

The County of Grande Prairie will be closing a bridge on September 8

The County of Grande Prairie has announced a road closure starting on September 8.

A section of Township Road 704 between Highway 40 and Range Road 63 near the Wapiti Ski Club will be closed for the replacement of a bridge.

Drivers are being asked to detour using Township Road 710 and Range Road 64 to access Township Road 704.

This detour will still provide access to the Wapiti Nordic Ski Club, however, drivers may see increased traffic on Range Road 64.

The project is expected to last until the end of October, weather dependant.
