Bearhole Lake wildfire not posing threat to County of GP

The Grande Prairie Forest Area is not threatened by the out-of-control Bearhole Lake wildfire as of September 6.
The fire west of the Alberta-B.C. border is estimated at approximately 5,846 hectares in size.
The County of Grande Prairie is working closely with BC Wildfire to be prepared if the fire crosses the border.
An Incident Management Team is continuing to make progress on securing a perimeter with better weather conditions and BC Wildfire says there was no significant growth on Monday despite gusty winds.
