The City of Grande Prairie will begin tree mulching this week

The City of Grande Prairie will begin mulching small trees and shrubs on Tuesday, September 13.
In Swanavon, near Thrill Hill and Grande Banks on the Outer Waxwing Trail, crews will be using a large piece of equipment to mulch certain areas to increase safety, usability, and access.
The mulch will then be left on the sites to be used as organic material.
This is being done to improve safety, usability, and access to these areas and The City asks residents to avoid these areas while work is underway.
