Chateh RCMP are investigating a house fire

Chateh RCMP responded to a house fire on Dena Tha’ First Nation on Thursday, September 22.

Mounties received a 911 call about the blaze but were already en route due to a large amount of smoke coming from the home.

Dena Tha’ Fire Services with the help of High Level Fire Services worked together to extinguish the blaze.

At this time, no injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.

Chateh RCMP continues to investigate as they believe the cause of the fire is suspicious.
