PWSD schools hosting Terry Fox run’s

Nine Peace Wapiti Schools will be honoring Terry Fox today, (Friday, September 23) with the Terry Fox Run and other activities.

Motorists should drive with caution and watch out for kids on the road.

Activities will start at 8:25 am with the Bezanson School and won’t stop till after Wembly Elementary School finishes their Terry Fox run, which starts at 2:30 pm.

The schools are excited to announce parents and community members are welcome to come join in on the festivities, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

School activities will vary from the Terry Fox Run, fundraisers, and even ‘ Crazy Socks For Terry’.

Terry Fox events will continue until Thursday, October 6, when La Glace School does it’s Terry Fox run.
