UPDATE: Highway 2 open again after collision

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP advise that Highway 2 at Township Road 725 is now completely open.

Grande Prairie RCMP Rural Officers are on the scene of a collision involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck on Highway 2 and Township Road 725.

Northbound lanes have been reduced to one lane.

RCMP is advising motorists driving in the area to expect delays and use an alternate route.

Mounties said in a press release the investigation is currently underway and no further details will be offered at this time.
