GPDCS appointed new Supervisor of Religious Education

Nichole Gerein has been appointed the new Supervisor of Religious Education for the Grande Prairie and District Catholic Schools.

Gerein said in a news release “I look forward to sharing my faith journey with teachers and working alongside them in order to build faith leaders within our Division.”

She has worked for the last 8 years in the Grande Prairie Catholic Schools community as a principal and has 20 years of experience in education as a teacher and principal.

“I believe that my experience as a teacher and administrator will help me to bridge connections between the school, community, and church.”

Gerein is now responsible for fostering the development of Catholic Education within schools and helping to provide guidance and faith-based opportunities for staff and students using compassion and curiosity to ignite passion.
