Woodland Cree First Nation murder suspect at large, Mounties asking for public assistance

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Reduction Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for 2nd Degree Murder.

On October 4, around 5 a.m. Peace Regional RCMP received a 9-1-1 call of a twenty two-year-old male who had been shot on Woodland Cree First Nation and needed medical assistance.

Mounties and EMS arrived on the scene and when they declared the injured male, Emilio Noskey deceased.

As a result of further investigation, Alberta RCMP Crimes Reduction Unit obtained a warrant on October 5 for the arrest of twenty three-year-old Daniel Lane Cardinal, of no fixed address and is last known to be in Little Buffalo.

Cardinal describes as (photos can be seen below):

  • 135 lbs
  • 5’9” tall
  • Brown eyes
  • Black hair
  • Medium complexion
