RCMP investigating hit and run on 76 Avenue

Grande Prairie RCMP General Investigations Section is investigating a hit and run in the area of 76 Avenue and Resources Road.

They are looking for witnesses that were in the area around 5:34 p.m. on Thursday, October 13.

Grande Prairie RCMP and emergency services responded to a hit and run at 5:34 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, where their investigation revealed a red SUV struck a man who had gotten out of his vehicle on 76 Avenue.

The red SUV fled the scene after the collision but was later located by Mounties.

The man who had been struck was transported to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
