Peace River RCMP asking for the public’s help with ‘believed’ 30 vehicle break-and-enters

Oct 19, 2022 | 6:00 AM

Peace River RCMP is asking residents of Shaftesbury Estates, to help them investigate multiple vehicle break-and-enters.

It is believed that on the night of October 16 between 3 and 6 a.m. 30 vehicles were broken into.

Mounties are asking anyone in the neighborhood with surveillance cameras operating on October 16 from 3 to 6 a.m. to review their footage.

Officers are looking for two males dressed in all black going onto driveways and checking vehicles.

Mounties offered some tips to reduce break-and-enters in their media release:

  • Turning on outside lights at night
  • Install a surveillance camera
  • Ensure everything is locked up.

RCMP are actively investigating and ask the public to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhood to Peace River RCMP at 780-624-6677 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com.
