Heavy RCMP presence in Cadotte Lake after reports of a gun shot

UPDATE – RCMP say some officers continue to investigate the reports of a gunshot, but they currently do not believe that there is any risk to the public. The hold and secure order for Cadotte Lake school has also been lifted.

At 9:35 this morning, Peace River RCMP received a call about a gunshot heard in the area of Cadotte Lake.

Cadotte Lake school is currently under hold and secure as police continue to investigate.

Mounties do have a heavy presence in the area and asked in a release that the public doesn’t post their locations on social media.
