South and central portions of Peace region under a wind warning

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for most of the south and central Peace, including Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Valleyview, Peace River, Manning, Fairview, and Grande Cache.

The weather office says winds ranging from 70 to 90 km an hour will begin Thursday morning and continue throughout the day, eventually easing by Thursday night.

They add the wind may lead to objects such as tree branches breaking, and shingle and window damage to buildings.
