County Regional Fire Service investigating structure fire in the Hinton Trail Area

Just before 9 a.m. County Fire crews from Beaverlodge, Hythe, and Wembley responded to a mobile home fire near Range Road 105 and Township Road 702 in the Hinton Trail area.

Upon arrival, crews found an unoccupied trailer completely engulfed in flames. The fire had spread to another adjacent occupied residence

Crews worked quickly to extinguish the blaze at the occupied residence, with the assistance of the Horse Lake First Nation Fire Department, who answered their request for another water tender.

No injuries were reported but crews remain on the scene to extinguish the mobile home and are advising motorists to avoid the area while they finish putting out the blaze and have the County Fire Marshall investigate the cause.

County Regional Fire service said in a news release, they are thankful for County Council’s support, having two new water tenders that were dispatched this week, used on this call.
