Slope repair work west of Bear Creek on hold until spring

Oct 31, 2022 | 2:26 PM

The city says a temporary gravel surface trail north of 68 Avenue on the west side of Bear Creek is now open to the public.

The trail was created in order to allow for slope repair work to be done on a section of the existing trail in that area.

The contractor doing that slope repair work has now closed the site for the winter months, adding they will return in the spring to resume construction.

Trail users can also still detour around the site completely by using the trail between 102 Street and Kateri drive.
