The County of Grande Prairie says a road closure was originally planned for Friday, November 4, but will now take place Saturday, November 5, instead.

The road affected is Range road 55, from Highway 2 to Township road 742.

The closure will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, to allow for repairs to be done to the CN Rail crossing on that road.

Motorists can use Township road 742 and Range Road 60 to detour around the construction area.

No reason was given as to why the work is being pushed back to Saturday.
