New assistant principal at St. Joe’s

St Joe’s High School in Grande Prairie has a new assistant principal.

Jessica Johnston has been promoted to the position after being a teacher at the school since 2009.

In a news release, the division says Johnston believes in creating a learning environment that is personalized, inclusive, and flexible to everyone, adding she is excited to grow her school community and help students thrive and find success.

She adds she is looking forward to continuing to develop relationships with her fellow staff, students, parents, and the greater school community in her new role.
