The City of Grande Prairie has revised and made changes to the current transit program and the updates come into effect, Saturday, November 26.
These changes have been made to improve connectivity and schedule reliability, along with being based on feedback from residents who use these transit systems.
The changes consist of:
- Introducing Countryside to Route 9 to replace the On-Demand Zone.
- Adding the On-Demand service to Riverstone.
- A small adjustment of Route 6, allowing a fixed route service to Crystal Ridge from the Prairie Mall.
- Adjustments to what busses switch routes to better match travel patterns.
