Grande Prairie RCMP to gather feedback from the public during town hall meetings
Grande Prairie RCMP are inviting the public to attend one of five town hall meetings slated for later this month, to discuss any issues, comments, or concerns surrounding policing issues in the community.
Superintendent Lee Buchanan, the Officer in Charge of the Grande Prairie detachment, says the meetings provide them an opportunity to engage directly with the community and hear their perspectives on policing and community safety.
He adds the feedback is then used in the detachment’s annual planning process to ensure that policing priorities in the city reflect the community’s policing needs.
Two meetings will be held on November 21st – one from noon to 2 at Teresa Sargeant Hall, and the other from 7-9 in the evening at Safety City.
