AHS brings back Toys for Parking Tickets program

Nov 24, 2022 | 12:34 PM

Alberta Health Services is bringing back the Toys for Parking Tickets program, which they shelved for a couple of years during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Director of Parking at AHS, Nick Ternovatsky said in a news release; “We paused the Toys for Tickets campaign during COVID-19 but, given its past success and positive reception, we are happy to launch it once again this holiday season.”

The Toys for Parking tickets campaign is designed to collect new toys with at least a $25 value, for all ages of kids – from newborns to 17-year-olds to be donated to various children foundations across the province.

AHS recommends donations of:

  • Books
  • Art supplies
  • Science kits
  • Electronics
  • Headphones
  • Lego sets
  • Portable DVD players
  • Rattles
  • Baby toys
  • Journals
  • Activity books
  • Crayons
  • Coloring books
  • Gift cards for grocery stores and restaurants (for families)

Toys can be dropped off at any AHS parking office until December 16 instead of paying a parking ticket.
