Info sessions planned regarding Livestock Emergency Response plan

After being approved by council earlier this month, the County of Grande Prairie has a pair of events this week to unveil details about their Livestock Emergency Response Plan.

The sessions are set for Monday night at the Ed Brown and Ed Hotte Ag Complex in Beaverlodge, and on Wednesday night at the TARA Centre at Evergreen Park.

Both sessions run from 7-9 pm and are free to attend, although pre-registration is suggested through Eventbrite.

Both events will include a demonstration of how the plan works and info on what situations would lead to the plan being activated.

Producers will also be given the opportunity to share ideas that they may have regarding the plan.
