Charges laid after drugs seized from Pinnacle home and vehicle

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team’s organized crime unit has laid charges against a 24-year-old city resident after executing a search warrant as part of an investigation.

Nearly $50,000 in drugs and cash were seized during the November 17, search of a home and vehicle in the Pinnacle Ridge area.

Including:

• 343 grams of crack cocaine
• 920 grams of a suspected buffing agent
• 10 grand in cash.

Jason Truong is charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
