New board members elected and Executive named for local Chamber of Commerce

Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce welcomed three new board members after an election during their Annual General Meeting on Thursday.

Mariah Braun, Cliff Headon, and Dan Stojanovic were all elected to two-year terms on the board, along with Lori Pollock and Barry Yaehne, who were both re-elected to the board.

The Chamber also approved its new Executive for the coming year, which will be headed up by new Board Chair Cindy Park.

She will be joined by Cord Spero as Chair-Elect, Jon Anderson as Vice-Chair, and Tertius Genus as Past Chair.

The Chamber also handed out its yearly awards during the meeting.

Cris Seppola won the Clem E. Collins Award, which recognizes volunteer work by a chamber member.

Justin Munroe of Pizza Hut won the Business Citizen of the Year Award, while Bearisto and Associates Engineering and Survey took home the Dan H. Minchin Award for long-term member business achievement.
