Alberta RCMP enforce safe driving on National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day
This past Saturday, December 3, RCMP units across the province were involved in the National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day initiative.
Over the course of the day, they removed seventy-seven drivers from the roadways.
Forty-four were over the legal limit or refused to provide a breath sample, and received immediate roadside sanctions.
Fifteen drivers provided a breath sample and were in the range to receive a warning, while sixteen GDL motorists provided breath samples and had alcohol in their system.
