NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATIONS

Grande Prairie’s New Year’s Eve-ning celebrations unveiled

Grande Prairie residents are encouraged to ring in the new year at Muskoseepi Park on December 31st, during the Grande Prairie New Year’s Eve-ning event.

Set to take place from 6-9:30 that night, it will include live music, free skating and show shoeing, horse and wagon rides for $1 a person, and a live fire dancing show beginning at 9 pm.

Children’s activities include free crafts and colouring, and face painting for $1 a person.

There will be food trucks on site, and New Horizon Co-op will be offering free cake and hot chocolate beginning at 6 pm.

Other hot drinks, including hot apple cider, will also be available.
