2023 Passionate Heart Awards seeking nominations

The 2023 Passionate Heart Awards will be given out in February and the Family and Community Support teams at the City and County of Grande Prairie, along with the towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Wembley are looking for nominations.

Nominations are welcome for people or groups that work in the social services sector, contribute significantly to their community, enhance social services in the area, and are dedicated to improving the quality of life in their community.

There are four different awards for which people and groups can be nominated. They are::

• Exceptional Service for front-line staff with two more years of experience in the following professions:

– Policing Services

Meaningful Mementos

Remembering Someone You've Lost at Christmas

• Chris Henderson Lifetime Service Award for individuals with 10+ years of significant social service in the community.
