Manning Community Health Centre ED closing overnight

The Manning Community Health Centre will be closing its Emergency Department overnight this evening (Thursday, December 15) and Friday, December 16 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The cause of the closure was attributed to nursing shortages.

Patients still requiring medical care during these closures are still asked to call 911, as their calls will be rerouted to neighboring hospitals.

Residents can still call 811 with any non-emergency health-related questions.

AHS said in a release they are working hard to ensure residents have access to the care they need, and they are thankful for the support of the surrounding medical staff and health care centers.
