Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital ED closing overnight

For the second time this week, the Beaverlodge Emergency Department will be without physician coverage from 5 pm today, until tomorrow morning at 8 am.

During the closure, Nursing staff will remain on-site, providing urgent triage, assessments, and referrals to other emergency departments. Nursing staff cannot provide prescriptions or other services.

Depending on needs, patients seeking care at the ED should also be made aware of services available through local pharmacies.

Patients are still asked to call 911 in case of an emergency, as these will be rerouted to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.
