AHS thanks donors for contributions to Toys for Tickets

Alberta Health Services would like to thank everyone who participated in their Toys for Tickets Campaign, which officially wrapped up last Friday, December 16.

Sergio Roppo, Manager of Parking Operations at AHS North Sector said in a release, ” It was great to see the outpouring of generosity and donations from everyone who donated in Grande Prairie.”

The campaign gave people the opportunity to exchange unpaid AHS parking tickets for new and unwrapped toys to give to children staying at the hospital over the holidays.

Roppo said in the same release, “It certainly helped put a smile on our parking staff faces and hopefully will do the same for the dozens of children who will receive a toy over the holiday season.”

These new and unwrapped toys will now be distributed by the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation to children staying at the hospital over the holidays.
