Winter parking ban in effect

The City of Grande Prairie has announced the beginning of parking bans on priority roads.

Starting today, (Wednesday, December 28) you will no longer be able to park on the roadways of priority one and two roads, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

These bans are to ensure safe access to roadways during snow removal operations.

City crews do continue to actively sand and plow roads and ask anyone looking for more information to click here.
