No one injured after Friday night trailer fire

The Grande Prairie Fire Department says no one was hurt but two occupants have been displaced after a trailer fire.

Firefighters were called out just after 7 pm Friday to the trailer located at the Southview Mobile Home Park.

A neighbour had told the people inside that their home was on fire.

The Fire Department says in a release that when crews arrived, flames were coming from under the moble home and spreading to the roof. Firefighters stopped the blaze for spreading any further.

Two cats had to be rescued.

Two engines, one ladder truck, and a command unit were all involved in fighting the blaze.

The investigation continues.
