Fraud report from local hotel leads to charges against two local men
RCMP arrested a pair of Grande Prairie men after they received a report from a local hotel of identity theft.
On December 1, the hotel sent a report to the police after they believed a client had used fraudulent credit cards to get a room.
An investigation followed and led Mounties to obtain a search warrant for a residential apartment in Grande Prairie.
RCMP recovered stolen property, stolen identification, fraudulent documents, forged documents, and the equipment used to create them, including a computer, printers, and ID templates.
