Fog to stay a little longer in Peace region

The fog in the region is here to stay for a while according to Environment Canada.

The weather office has put a fog advisory over the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview and Peace River – Fairview- High Prairie – Manning forecast areas.

There is also a fog advisory out for Fox Creek and Whitecourt. Advisories also cover the southeast part of the province, starting in Edmonton and moving into Saskatchewan.

The fog may lift through the day in some areas but will most likely return tonight (Monday).

Freezing drizzle is possible in these areas leading to slippery conditions and visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero while travelling.
