Peace Region residents sweep competition at armwrestling tournament in Prairie Mall
If you were in the Prairie Mall on Saturday, it was hard to miss the excitement happening in the centre court with competitors across the Peace waiting to pull their way to a win.
The Northern Twistmasters Armwrestling Club hosted an event that drew 88 competitors, some as young as seven-years-old. People from across the province made the trip to Grande Prairie for the circuit tournament.
There were three other clubs in attendance: Prince George Iron Arm, Edmonton Extreme, and Misfits (Drayton Valley).
Crowds watched all afternoon as the one-on-one battles were on full public display.
